Diesel fuel injectors work
All compression ignition engines and many spark-ignition engines, i.e., petrol engines, such as Otto or Wankel, use fuel injection of one kind or another. The fuel injection system is here to deliver fuel into engine cylinders while precisely controlling the injection timing, fuel atomization, and other parameters. The main types of injection systems include pump-line-nozzle, unit injector, and common rail. 300D fuel injectors are small electrical components that are used to deliver fuel via spray directly into the intake manifold in front of the intake valve in a diesel engine. Diesel fuel injectors are quite complicated; the injector has a high-micron filter on the top inlet side, which corresponds to small hypodermic-sized holes on the bottom for the atomization of the diesel fuel.
